We are proud to offer an exclusive 42-day self-guided group motorhome tour of one of the remotest regions in North America. The tour package includes full size self-contained motorhome rental. Tours depart May  2026 starting in Calgary, Canada, traveling on the Alaskan Highway through to Fairbanks Alaska, returning to Calgary via the tourist hotspots of Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff. At the conclusion of the 33-day motorhome tour the group will take a flight to Vancouver for a 7-day inside passage cruise.

Your tour fee includes:

  • Pre and post tour hotel accommodation at Calgary
  • Motorhome rental with unlimited mileage and nil excess insurance
  • RV park and campground fees on full-service sites (Where available)
  • National Park fees, river boat 3-hour cruise, entry to selected attractions, and some meals
  • Extensive trip notes with detailed driving instructions
  • Inside passage 7-day Cruise (Vancouver – Vancouver)

    What's Included?

    Rental Motorhomes

    Tour pricing based on a 24ft medium size motorhome featuring a permanent rear bed, kitchen with gas stove, microwave, and full-size fridge/freezer, shower, and flush toilet. The motorhomes are fully self-contained and complement the full hook-up RV sites used on tour. An upgrade is available to a larger with a separate bedroom and full size walk round rear bed.

    Group Size

    On this tour we anticipate 22 – 26 members travelling together.

    Entry Fees

    National Park fees, boat trips, some group meals and entry to the attractions detailed in the itinerary are included in the tour fee.

    Hotels

    The tour price includes a stay at a 4-star Calgary hotel one night before the tour, and one night in Vancouver after the motorhome tour (before the cruise).

    Transfers

    Transfer to/from the motorhome depot are included. For transfers to/from the cruise terminal and airport use the Canada Line Train.

    Holland America Inside Passage Cruise

    Tour fee is based on an Oceanview Stateroom. An upgrade is available to a Vista Suite with a balcony. Meals are included but drinks and tips are at your own cost.

      CALGARY TO ALASKAN HIGHWAY

      The Group departs Calgary and travels through several small towns joining the 2,700 km Alaska Highway at Dawson Creek BC (Mile 0)

        Muncho Lake

        Located on the Alaskan Highway this remote area is a great place for a stopover. Our campground is right on the lakeshore and has full facilities. A group evening meal is planned at the adjacent lodge. This area has abundant wildlife including several bison herds.

          Watson Lake

          For something different make a visit to the Sign-Post Forest. It has over 65,000 signs from all over. View the Aurora Borealis panoramic video at the Northern Lights Centre. Stop for a swim at the hot springs.

            DESTRUCTION BAY

            Enjoy a group meal at the local hotel that frequently serves freshly caught lake trout.

              FAIRBANKS

              Included is a three-hour trip on Riverboat Discovery, visit an Indian Village and Sled Dog Centre and watch a float plane take off followed by a miner’s lunch.

                DENALI NATIONAL PARK

                The park is located 250 miles south of the Arctic Circle and extends to 6 million acres. Travel in the park is restricted, requiring use of the park transportation system. Several shuttle bus and tour options are available.

                  TOP OF THE WORLD HIGHWAY

                  Travel this remote highway before boarding the ferry across the river to Dawson City (No bridges in this part of the world)

                    DAWSON CITY

                    The group has a two-night stay in this historic city formed out of the Klondike gold rush. It has been preserved right down to unpaved dirt roads and many original buildings. Past groups have really enjoyed a night out at Diamond Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall which puts on nightly vaudeville shows including the “Can Can”

                      SWIFT RIVER – DEASE LAKE -STEWART

                      The group leaves the Alaskan highway behind and travels down the scenic highway through to Kitwanga BC. To describe this route as scenic is an understatement. In parts it is absolutely stunning with waterfalls, glaciers and lots of wildlife including bears and the now world famous “Jade City”.

                        JASPER – ICEFIELDS PARKWAY – LAKE LOUISE

                        Travel the spectacular Icefields Parkway for awe-inspiring scenery. We break our journey for an optional Snow-Cat Excursion on the Athabasca Glacier and yes you do get to take a walk on the glacier. On the way through to Banff we overnight at Lake Louise, without question Lake Louise is one of the most beautiful places in North America.

                          BANFF NATIONAL PARK

                          During your trip through to Banff take the opportunity to get off the main highway and travel the very scenic Bow Valley Parkway. At Banff take the local bus into town and travel up the gondola for some great views of the area. Banff is a purpose-built tourist town with lots of shops selling souvenirs and interesting bars and cafes and well worth a visit.

                            After returning the motorhomes at Calgary travel to Vancouver to join the included 7-night cruise. Flight costs are additional.
