Experience Uluru (Ayers Rock) & Alice Springs on a small group 8 – Day Tour.

ITINERARY:

 DAY 1: Sydney Stopover: Tour pricing includes a stopover with breakfast at the Mantra Hotel Sydney Airport (or similar hotel if not available) Flights are not included but can be arranged from most New Zealand cities at additional cost.

Day 2– Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset Show and Sounds of Silence Dinner.  Flights from Sydney to Ayers Rock airport arrive late morning. Transfers to your Resort Hotel are included. That evening enjoy the spectacular Wintjiri Wiru Twilight Show followed by the 1:5 hour sounds of silence dinner. (B & D)

Day 3– Full Day National Park with Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset Viewing and BBQ: Your day in the National Park starts with a short walk into Waipa Gorge at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) followed by a visit to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre. Your coach then travels around the base of Uluru with stops for guided walks at Mala and Mutitjulu Waterhole. We finish what is a memorable day with sunset viewing of Uluru whilst enjoying sparkling wine, an Aussie BBQ and snacks. The coach will then transfer you back to your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation.  (B& D)

Day 4 – Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunrise Viewing and Alicc Springs Transfer: We start the day with a short trip into the National Park for Uluru Sunrise Viewing returning to the resort for breakfast. (Included) Early afternoon you will be transferred by coach to Alice Springs.  Your coach driver will provide commentary and make several stops for sightseeing and afternoon tea and dinner (Own Cost) (B)

Day 5 – Guided Historic Town Tour: Includes the Telegraph Station, School of the Air, The Royal Flying Doctor Service, and Anzac Hill on a half day tour. (B)

Day 6 –West Macdonnell Ranges Tour: Visit Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm, and the Ochre Pits. Enjoy a buffet or picnic lunch at Glen Helen Lodge before stopping at Ormiston Gorge and Ellery Creek Bighole. (B & L)

Day 7 – Optional Alice Springs Desert Park Tour: Alice Springs Desert Park is a showcase of the natural, cultural and biological features that make Australia’s deserts so special and is truly one of a kind. On this optional half day tour, you connect with nature and explore the plants, animals, and people of the desert. For those not taking the tour you can spend the day exploring Alice Springs (B)

Day 8 – Onward Travel:  Today you will be transferred to Alice Springs Airport for onward travel to New Zealand. (B)
