ITINERARY:
Our professional tour guides will show you the real outback on this Kiwi Travel Club 6- day tour.
DAY 1: Alice Springs Orientation Tour. You will be met at Alice Springs Airport by a local tour guide who will provide hotel transfers and 30-minute orientation tour. (Designated flights only)
Day 2 – Guided Historic Town Tour. Visit the Telegraph Station, School of the Air, The Royal Flying Doctor Service, Anzac Hill on half day tour, after you can enjoy some retail therapy or just relax around the hotel pool. (B)
Day 3 –West Macdonnell Ranges Tour. Visit Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm, the Ochre Pits. Enjoy a buffet lunch at Glen Helen Lodge before stopping at Ormiston Gorge and Ellery Creek Bighole. (B & L)
Day 4 – Travel to Uluru by Coach, stopping for breakfast and lunch. Enjoy spectacular views of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (The Olgas). Your day in the National Park starts with a short walk into Walpa Gorge followed by a visit to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre. You coach then travels around the base of Uluru with stops for guided walks at Mala and Mutitjulu Waterhole. We finish what is a memorable day with sunset viewing of Uluru whilst enjoying sparkling wine, an Aussie BBQ and snacks. The coach will transfer you to your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation. . (B& D)
Day 5 – Sunrise viewing at Uluru. The rest of the day is free for activities around the resort. That evening enjoy the “Field of Light” experience tour.
Day 6 – Airport transfers: Today you will be transferred to Ayers Rock airport for onward travel.

GROUP SIZE: This is a small group tour with a 8 – 16 travelling.
MEALS: Many breakfasts and some other meals are included – See itinerary for details.
ENTRY FEES: National Park fees and entry to all attractions is included in the tour fee.
HOTELS: For this tour we are using the Crowne Plaza at Alice Springs and Outback Pioneer at Voyagers Ayers Rock Resort. (Subject to availability) Both these hotels are resort style with full facilities. This is definitely NOT a camping tour.
LOCAL GUIDES AND TRANSPORT: All included day tours have a local professional accredited driver/guide. Alice Springs airport transfers use a 13-seater minibus for the transport of club members only. The group travels in a 20-seat club member only premium coach on the Historic Town Tour and Uluru Day Tour. The group may travel with other travellers on some other included tours . All buses and coaches are equipped with first aid kits and emergency satellite phones
