HIGHLIGHTS

DARWIN HARBOUR DINNER CRUISE – Meet your tour guide and fellow travellers while you take in the local sights and enjoy a buffet dinner on the magnificent Darwin Harbour. The following day your driver/guide will take you to more local attractions before you start on your adventure.

NITMILUK GORGE ADVENTURE – Travel by Mercedes touring coach to Katherine for a 2-hour 2-gorge boat trip. Great scenery with lots of wildlife and you may get your first sighting of a wild crocodile.

LAKE ARGYLE/ORD RIVER WETLANDS – View a manmade lake 18-times the size of Sydney harbour. A buffet lunch is included before the group takes a 50km trip by boat down the Ord River to Kununurra. The area is an important wetland area, with a thriving eco system, and the local guide knows the area well.

BUNGLE BUNGLE SCENIC FLIGHTS: During your 2-night stay a Kununurra you can take an optional 2-hour flight over Lake Argyle, the Ord River Irrigation Scheme, the Bungle Bungle Range, and world heritage listed Purnululu National Park

EXPERIENCE BROOME: During a 2-night stay at Broome, your guide will escort the group to many of the uinique Broome attractions. Experience the simple life with fish and chips as you watch the sunset at Cable Beach. After a day sightseeing the group will enjoy a real Aussie meal at our tour hotel. What a great way to end what is without doubt a memorable holiday experience.

HOTELS: For this tour we are using quality hotels with full facilities. See the itinerary for details This is definitely NOT a camping tour.

LOCAL GUIDES AND TRANSFERS: The group will be escorted by a local professional accredited driver/guide. Transfers are included at Darwin, Broome and Melbourne (Stopover) Day tours and boat trips have separate guides. The group may travel with other travellers on included day tours . The tour coach is equipped with a toilet, first aid kit and emergency cell phone.
